Instal Android 4.4.2 for Galaxy Mini KitKat 2 S6500D OmniROM

Previous Android Crazy 've discussed how to update Galaxy Mini 2 S6500D to Android 4.4.2 from CyanogenMod KitKat 11 that still has bugs in camcorders , is now available for Android 4.4.2 Galaxy Mini KitKat 2 S6500D of OmniROM . Custom ROMs this one is no less enthralling Android enthusiast the article is typical of the many attractive features OmniROM .

Currently OmniROM Homemade KitKat Android 4.2.2 ported from OmniROM Official results have achieved the status of " Stable " . But there are still bugs that FM Radio , maybe if it is not too fond of listening to radio will not be a problem with these bugs .

Preparation Install Android 4.4.2 for Galaxy Mini KitKat 2 S6500D OmniROM

·         Download and Install the USB drivers Samsung Galaxy Mini 2 S6500D , to transfer files between Android devices and computers .

·         Enable USB Debugging mode on the Galaxy Mini 2 S6500 Android devices to connect to a computer and using the Android SDK . Read this : How to Enable USB Debugging Mode On Android devices .

·         Erase all data on the phone like SMS , Call Log, Contacts and applications already installed on the internal memory , do data backup . So you are required to have a Custom Recovery like CWM / TWRP already installed then use the recovery or data backup can backup using backup tools available in Playstore . ( Install ClockworkMod Recovery Mode In Samsung Galaxy Mini 2 S6500D ) .

·         Galaxy Mini 2 S6500D must have at least 80 % battery power or more ! Why ? Because when the phone suddenly died when the install Custom ROMs , Mods , Root , etc. The possibility of Android devices will not be able to temporarily or permanently flame .

·          Galaxy Mini 2 S6500D must be factory unlocked and not locked to a specific operator . Why ? How to Install Android 4.4.2 for Galaxy Mini KitKat 2 S6500D OmniROM

Be sure to have the latest version installed CWM ( version 6.0.4.x ) !

Step 1 - Please Download the Custom ROM of Android 4.4.2 OmniROM Homemade KitKat and GAPPS for Galaxy Mini 2 S6500D.

Step 2 - Connect the Galaxy Mini 2 S6500D to your PC using a data cable / USB Cable.

Step 3 - Copy the file that was downloaded earlier to the memory card.

Step 4 - Turn off your Galaxy Mini 2 S6500D.

Step 5 - Make sure the phone is switched off and then turn on the phone by pressing and holding down the Volume Up + Home + Power simultaneously.

Step 6 - Now phones are in ClockworkMod Recovery mode , first please Wipe Data / Factory Reset ,Wipe Cache, Enter the Advanced  Wipe Dalvik Cache, ( It will restore the phone so the initial regulatory application to be remembered on the internal memory will be lost ) .

Note : If the previous ROM Custom ROM 's different with means to do Format Partition System  to delete the system partition ( the entire application system).

Step 7 - In Recovery Mode , select Install zip from sdcard  then choose zip from sdcard. Then navigate to the file " omni - 4.4.2 - xxx - jenad - HOMEMADE.zip " that have been downloaded and copied to the memory card before . Select using the Menu button / Power and confirm installation by selecting Yes on the next screen.

Step 8 - The process of running and wait for the install process is complete.

Step 9 - Repeat step 7 but with additional Mount / System  first and then select the file pa_gapps - modular - mini - 4.4.2 - xxx.zip

Step 9 - Now reboot the Galaxy Mini 2 S6500D with the back to the front page and select the CWM Recovery  Reboot System Now. Wait approximately 5-10 minutes for the first boot into the system .

Note : If the Galaxy Mini 2 S6500D stuck in boot animation ( after step 9 ) please go into recovery mode and perform an additional step to select wipe data / factory reset , wipe cache partition and then select Reboot system now .
